Muay Thai

2022

Muay Thai documents a youth tournament in Chiang Mai, focusing on the tension between childhood innocence and the physical intensity of the sport. Moments of vulnerability and playfulness coexist with discipline, impact and highly established ritual. The series approaches the tournament not simply as competition, but as a tradition being learned, performed and passed between generations.
